Measuring
Step 1: Gather Data for a Quote
Your school will have a combination of different size door and sidelight glass. Use our Glass Assessment Forms to gather approximate preliminary measurements.
1. Print our Glass Assessment Forms. Use these two forms to quickly measure your doors and sidelights for a quote. (If you want to skip this step and gather accurate measurements, use the Universal Door Glass Measure Forms and Sidelight Measure Forms that are displayed below instead.) However, this takes more time because the fit measurements should be taken from inside the room.
2. Walk the school hallways to take approximate measurements requested on the form.
3. Email your completed form to support@sheltershutters.com and one of our representatives will be in touch shortly.
Step 2: Submitting Your Final Measurements for an Order
Once you have received a quote and decide to place an order, we will need fit measurements. Follow the process below to gather and submit fit measurements for your Shelter Shutters order.
1. Print several copies of our Universal Door Glass Measure Forms and our Sidelight Measure Forms (Scroll down for sidelight measure forms).
2. Gather measurements from inside the classrooms and record onto the forms.
3. Once complete, email your forms to support@sheltershutters.com, and we will contact you shortly.

4. Email your completed form to support@sheltershutters.com and one of our representatives will contact you.
5. Contact us if you have sidelights that don’t match our forms.
