How to Measure for a Single Fold Shelter Shutter

When the window is “offset” in the door and very narrow, you will require a Single Fold Shutter
The Single Fold Shutter is based on the operating section only
Wooden door with a glass window.

A door that has a steel frame around the glass should be measured so the shutter size is the same as the steel frame size. Measure to the outside edes of the frame (as shown by dotted lines) and that’s the shutter size.

Example:

Frame size is 8″ x 32″

Shutters size is 8″ x 32″

A wood door with no frame or molding bump around the glass would cover the same way. Measure the glass width and length and add for overlap. (1-1/2″ all four sides is space permits)

Example:

Glass size is 5″ x 29″

Shutter size is 8″ x 32″
