Shelter Shutters are now ADA Certified by Corada, an independent testing agency
NEW JERSEY, March 1, 2023 – Shelter Shutters products have always been ADA friendly but now with the approval of Corada’s ADA certification process, many Shelter Shutters are officially ADA certified.
Shelter Shutters are door window covers that completely block out visibility into a classroom during school threats.

Designed to be ADA-friendly, Shelter Shutters fit within the reach range specified by the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines. The patented design can also be custom made to 48 inches above the floor, or longer, to meet ADA standards if necessary.
These shutters are guaranteed to open and close effectively for many years. They hold sturdy when closed and easily snap back into their original position immediately following an emergency. Made with corrugated vinyl and embedded magnets, Shelter Shutters come fire-rated or non-fire rated, depending on your preference.
